Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Smiling woman in dental chair

Growing up, Dr. Brann’s mom was terrified of the dentist. For that reason, she never took her kids unless they were struggling with serious pain. At the age of 18, she finally got dental insurance through her job and went to a proper appointment, only to find out that she needed a lot of dental work. Her dentist was very passionate about his work and got her excited about the field – so excited that she decided to become a dentist herself and help others not feel ashamed about where they are with their current dental journey! Today, one of her favorite parts of the job is empathizing with the patients.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After attending Oakland University for her undergraduate degree, Dr. Brann achieved her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts University. She also has her AEGD, has participated in SPEAR study groups, and is working towards a Fellowship with the International Dental Implant Association. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association.

Dr. Brann and her husband Glen have two children named Lincoln and Millie. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and being involved in their church. She’s also always up for going to football and baseball games and exploring all that Arizona has to offer. Chalkboard art and calligraphy are big passions too!
